In order to investigate this case on the scene, the head of the Ministry's educational department Colonel Vagif Mammadov was sent to this military unit, the head of the Ministry's press-service, Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu told Trend.

Several days ago, a number of officers and warrant officers of the military unit spread a video message about the corruption in their unit. The officers said that repair work in their unit is carried out at the expense of their salaries.

According to Sabiroglu, new facts were revealed during the investigation.

"Ramin Gasimov beat two soldiers who are under his authority, while exercising their duty. July 4, Military Prosecutor's Office of Fizuli Garrison filed a criminal case under article 331.3 of the Criminal Code. Captain Ramin Gasimov warned commanders of the military that he intends to take revenge," Sabiroglu said.

He said Ramin Gasimov fraudulently made a video with the lieutenant Asker Askerov and ensign Shahlar Rzayev.

"These military in their explanations have fully clarified this issue," said Sabiroglu.
According to him, now captain Gasimov continues to serve in his unit, and relevant measures will be taken as a result of the criminal investigation.
