Green taxis drove through the city streets during the International Youth Forum, co-organised by IDEA (International dialogue in the name of environmental protection) and UNEP.

Slogans like 'Nature is alive when it is loved' were written on the cars. Also, posters on environmental education were hung in Park Bulvar.

Discussions on issues of sustainable development, the Rio +20 summit results and constant cooperation between youth organisations were held at the forum attended by local and international youth organisations. Also, more than 20 international participants joined the forum through the TUNZA network.

The IDEA campaign (International dialogue in the name of environmental protection), was established on July 12, 2011 by the Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, the author of numerous local and international projects. Large scale projects carried out by the IDEA campaign are of interest to a number of international organisations. In this regard, the IDEA campaign is launching new joint projects in cooperation with international organisations.

The Green Week, one of the international projects implemented by the IDEA campaign in cooperation with UNEP, is being held on November 12-16

Along with local guests, the event will bring together specially invited representatives from international organisations, youth leaders and other guests from around the world.
An international youth forum started on Monday, the first day of the event.

The forum will be held with the participation of local and international youth organizations. The forum focused on sustainable development, the results of the Rio +20 Summit and cooperation between youth organizations. In addition, more than 20 international participants joined the forum through TUNZA network.

The International Youth Forum will make a significant contribution to the implementation of decisions made at the Rio +20 summit and will adopt a declaration which will be brought to the attention of the 67th Session of the UN General Assembly.
