BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. The need-based minimum wage is recommended to be increased in Azerbaijan, Trend reports citing draft law "On state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2023".
The draft law "On state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2023" was submitted to Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) on October 24.
The limit of the need-based minimum wage is recommended to be increased by 23 percent compared to 2022 and amount to 246 manat ($144). For comparisons, in 2022 it was forecast at 200 manat ($117).
According to the draft law, the revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan for the next year are forecasted at the level of 30.7 billion manat ($18 billion), and expenditures - 33.3 billion manat ($19.5 billion).
