The Minister of Education of Azerbaijan Misir Mardanov sent a letter to the rector of the Moscow State University (MSU) and demanded explanations in regard to the trip of the MSU head of the chair and a group of students to Nagorny Karabakh (Azerbaijan) without the permission of the Azerbaijani authorities, the Azerbaijan’s Education Ministry told Trend.
The Education Minister considers, the above-mentioned trip to Nagorny Karabakh without the sanction of the Azerbaijani authorities is illegal. The letter of the same content the Minister sent to the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Azerbaijan.
As the Ministry said, the reports on the trip to Nagorny Karabakh and the meetings at the University of Nagorny Karabakh are placed on one of the Russian sites.
