A two year work plan on cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNESCO in education will be prepared, education ministry told Trend.
The project of the plan will be presented at the next meeting of the joint work group that is due to be held in June in Baku. UNESCO expert delegation will arrive for the meeting. They are expected to discuss perspectives of cooperation in reforming the Azerbaijani education system.
UNESCO is rendering technical assistance in modifying educational system in Azerbaijan. UNESCO assistance will cover in future; equal access to education, modifying education management system, updating educational programs at all levels, retraining and modification of teacher` s qualification, modernization of professional education and introducing IT in educational system.
