BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 27

By Khagan Isayev - Trend:

The construction of six new substations with a voltage of 35/04 kV within the framework of repair and restoration work in Azerbaijan’s Shusha city liberated from Armenian occupation [in the 2020 second Karabakh war] continues, Azerishig OJSC told Trend.

"Work at two substations is nearing completion. In total, nine substations will function in the city," the company said.

Recently, 110 kilovolt overhead power lines have been restored in Kalbajar, Azerishig noted.

"An overhead transmission line with a voltage of 32 kV from the village of Gulabird in the direction of the Lachin corridor has been repaired. Similar transmission lines of the same voltage have been also installed," added the OJSC.

The functions of Azerishig OJSC include the purchase of electricity in the territory of Azerbaijan, reliable, safe, and efficient power supply to consumers.
