Azerbaijan records revenue increase to state budget revenues via State Customs Committee

Azerbaijan’s state budget revenues through the State Customs Committee (SCC) in 2021 grew by 10.3 percent, or by 404.727 million manat ($238.08 million) compared to 2020, Trend reports with reference to the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.

According to the committee, this figure reached nearly 4.343 billion manat ($2.5 billion) in the reporting period, and exceeded the result of the same period in 2020, amounting to 3.938 billion manat ($2.3 billion).

At the same time, state budget revenues derived from customs duties increased by 18.6 percent in 2021 compared to 2020, and rose above 1.105 billion manat ($650 million).

In 2021, the State Customs Committee fulfilled the forecast for state budget revenues by 111.29 percent. The amount transferred to the state budget beyond the projection amounted to 440.37 million manat ($259 million).

In 2020, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan implemented the forecast on budget revenues by 102.83 percent. Revenues from the State Customs Committee amounted to 3.938 billion manat ($2.3 billion) against the forecast of 3.83 billion manat ($2.2 billion).
