Some 87.9 percent out of 1,352,229 taxpayers registered as of March 1, 2022 in Azerbaijan accounted for individuals and 12.1 percent - legal entities, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani State Tax Service.
The total number of taxpayers compared to the same period of 2020 increased by 9.8 percent, including individuals - by 10.1 percent, legal entities - by 7.8.
Some 2,163 commercial organizations were registered in Azerbaijan in the reporting period of 2022, which is by 13.2 percent more than in the same period of 2021.
Around 84.9 percent of these enterprises passed e-registration.
The share of e-registration of limited liability companies with local investments amounted to 95.3 percent from January through February 2022.
Some 301 companies have passed e-registration.
The share of e-registration in the general registration was 13.9 percent while in the registration of limited liability companies with local investments - 15.6 percent.
Moreover, 89.8 percent of registered commercial enterprises are the companies with local investments, 10.2 percent - the companies with foreign investments.
Some 88.9 percent out of the registered commercial legal entities are limited liability companies, 1.5 percent - joint-stock companies, 1.2 percent - cooperatives, etc.
