BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. The demand for rental of electric scooters in Baku, depending on weather conditions, sometimes reaches 150 per day, Azerbaijani WingZ marketing service’s expert Ahmad Jabbarov told Trend.
"Nearly 50 to 150 electric scooters are rented per day. We have already equipped rental points in almost all major parks in the capital.” Jabbarov said. “We plan to expand our geography not only in the capital, and in particular, we have already opened points in Ganja and Naftalan cities. It’s also planned to open rental centers in Gabala and Nakhchivan and some other places.”
He reminded that WingZ started its activities in 2019 as a start-up project with 50 electric scooters.
"However, due to the growing interest in our project, the number of electric scooters in 2021 reached 200, and this year - 700 units. We’ll continue to replenish our fleet," the expert noted.
Speaking about the profits made from the rental, Jabbarov said that sometimes it’s sometimes completely spent on the repair and maintenance of electric scooters.
"Nevertheless, we aren’t planning to change prices for electric scooter rentals in the near future," he added.
