BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Azerbaijan's consumer price index (CPI) increased by 13 percent from January through July 2022 against the same period of 2021, the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Trend.

Food, beverage and tobacco prices went up by 18.7 percent, while non-food products – by seven percent. Meanwhile, paid services rendered to the population rose by 10.1 percent.

The country’s CPI in July 2022 edged up by 13.7 compared to the same month of 2021.
