BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 12. Azerbaijan's consumer price index (CPI) increased by 13.2 percent from January through August 2022 against the same period of 2021, the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Trend.
Food, beverage, and tobacco prices went up by 18.9 percent, while non-food products – by 7.2 percent. Meanwhile, paid services rendered to the population rose by 10 percent.
The country’s CPI in August 2022 edged up by 14.2 compared to August 2021.
