BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 12. Azerbaijan’s state budget gains through the State Customs Committee exceeded 4.6 billion manat ($2.7 billion) from January through October 2022, Trend reports citing the Committee.

This figure increased by 30.52 percent compared to the same period of 2021.

Revenues from customs duties to the state budget increased by 16.72 percent, or 162.9 million manat ($95.8 million) from January through October 2022 (up to over 1.137 billion manat or $668.8 million) against the same period of 2021.

The budget receipts from VAT amounted to 3.3 billion manat or $1.9 billion (growth of 37.43 percent), from excises – 133.9 million manat or $78.7 million (an increase of 1.25 percent), from road taxes – 52.6 million manat or $30.9 million (growth of 47.26 percent year over year).

The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan fulfilled the forecast for state budget revenues by 111.29 percent in 2021. The excess amount rendered to the state budget totaled 440.37 million manat ($259.05 million).
