Türkiye reveals increased value of chemical exports to Uzbekistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 19. The total value of chemical exports from Türkiye to Uzbekistan increased by 13.9 percent to $187 million from January through June 2023 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.

According to the Turkish Ministry of Trade, the value of chemical exports to Uzbekistan lowered by 3.7 percent to $34.1 million in June this year compared to the same month in 2022.

The total export of chemicals from Türkiye abroad decreased by 13.5 percent and amounted to $14.6 billion from January through June 2023 compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Türkiye exported chemicals worth $2.4 million in June of this year, which is 25.3 percent less in comparison with June last year.

Türkiye exported chemicals worth $31.2 billion over the past 12 months (from June 2022 through June 2023).
