BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. Azercosmos Space Agency of Azerbaijan OJSC's revenues from the provision of satellite and telecommunications services amounted to $9.5 million from January through June 2023, Trend reports.
According to the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan, Azercosmos' revenues from exporting its services to 40 countries amounted to $1.7 million only in June.
The company exported satellite and telecommunications services to the UK ($2.7 million), Luxembourg ($2.1 million), the UAE ($837,700), Germany ($522,200), and Pakistan ($444,400) during the reporting period.
Azercosmos owns two communication satellites: Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2.
Azercosmos OJSC's revenues from the provision of satellite and telecommunications services amounted to $26.6 million by the end of 2022.
