BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. Azerbaijan's budget received 90.7 million manat ($53.3 million) through the State Tax Service of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from January through July 2023, Trend reports.
According to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, this is 38 percent (25 million manat, or $14.7 million) more compared to the same period in 2022.
Tax revenues increased by 49.1 percent (or by 4.9 million manat or $2.8 million year-on-year) only in July 2023.
Tax revenues for the state budget of Azerbaijan amounted to 15.5 billion manat ($9.1 billion) in 2022. They increased by 82.2 percent compared to 2021.
During the reporting period, revenues to the non-oil and gas sector increased by 27.9 percent to 8.1 billion manat ($4.7 billion).
