A regular meeting at a high level within the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) program will be held in Baku on June 6-9, the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry said on Tuesday.
The event is expected to be attended by delegations of the CAREC member countries, the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Asian Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank and UN Development Programme.
Within the event the CAREC Trade Policy Coordinating Committee's 14th meeting and several workshops will be held.
CAREC is a partnership of eight participating countries (Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) and six international organizations (ADB, EBRD, IMF, IDB, UNDP and World Bank).
