Kazakhstan has already joined the Customs Union on July 1 and prepares to join the World Trade Organization (WTO), Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the Industrial Innovation Forum.
"We have to compete with the world," Nazarbayev said. "Kazakhstan has until 2020 to join a leading innovative world economy."
The President said that each entrepreneur in the country must follow a new principle, introduce new technologies, and achieve new goals.
