Iran 's alloy steel product sales value increased by 40 percent during the first three months of current solar year (started on March20,2011), Mehr news agency has quoted Managing Director of Iran Alloy Steel Company Mohammad Mehdi Faqih Khorasanias saying.
"During the first three months of current year 65,000 tons of alloy steel was sold. As compared to last year (ended on March 20, 2011) there is 17 percent increase in weight and 40 percent increase in value," he said.
The weight of steel products exported by this company also increased by 19 percent to 7,600 tons during this time.
Iran Alloy Steel Company exports its products to Germany ,Armenia , Brazil, Turkey ,France and South American countries.
The crude steel production of this company increased by 4 percent to more than 73,000 tons of steel in the first three months of current solar year.
