Umar Turdiyev was appointed acting chairman of the Uzbek state committee on de-monopolization and competition development. He was the first deputy chairman of the committee since April 2010, the official website of the organization said.
Turdiyev headed the territorial department of the state committee in Bukhara in 1998-2000. He also worked in various state bodies and the Uzbek President's offiice.
