Azerbaijan's banks, NBCOs reduce liabilities to CBA

The liabilities of banks and non-bank credit organizations to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) declined by 6.9 percent during the year and amounted to 6.99 billion manats as of November 1, 2017, according to the CBA report on the past 10 months of 2017.

The volume of liabilities decreased by 0.7 percent compared to the end of September 2017 .

According to the results of October 2016, commercial banks' obligations to the regulator amounted to 7.51 billion manats, and by the end of September 2017 - 7.04 billion manat.

The volume of foreign liabilities of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan remained unchanged at the level of 2.4 millions manat during the reporting period.

The international reserves of the CBA grew by 29.8 percent over the year - from $4.01 billion to $5.2 billion.

During the reporting period, the net liabilities of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan to the state decreased by 36.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 4.16 billion manats.

According to the results of October 2016, the volume of liabilities amounted to 6.59 billion manats.

The official exchange rate for December 13 is 1,7001 AZN / USD.
