Since October 28, Kazakh carrier Air Astana has switched to the winter flight schedule, which will be valid until March 30, 2019, the airline said in a statement.

Thus, Air Astana has reduced the number of flights to London, Delhi, Omsk, Beijing, Kiev, Moscow and St. Petersburg for this period. The air carrier will continue to operate flights to 20 countries. Its own flights will be operated to 40 cities, 28 of which are abroad.

The network of flights to the CIS countries includes 11 destinations: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Baku, Bishkek, Tashkent, Dushanbe, as well as flights to Kiev and Tbilisi.

Meanwhile, domestic flights cover 12 cities of Kazakhstan: Almaty, Astana, Aktau, Atyrau, Aktobe, Oral, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Oskemen, Pavlodar, Kostanay and Karaganda.

It is worth noting that in March this year Air Astana signed an agreement with Cathay Pacific airline, thanks to which passengers of both carriers are able to fly through the flight network of the partner. In particular, Air Astana customers can travel to Asia and Australia through Hong Kong.

Moreover, Air Astana’s codeshare agreements with Air France/KLM, Hong Kong Airlines, Air India, Asiana Airlines, Bangkok Airways, Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, LOT Polish Airlines, as well as 95 interline agreements, continue to be in force.
