Kazakhstan has exported 51,755 tons of meat and meat products during first 10 months of 2019, which is 2.1 times more compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the data of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture.
Thus, the leader by export of meat and meat products is country’s Turkestan region, which exported 23,189 tons, which is 2.51 times more than during the same period of last year.
It is followed by Almaty and West Kazakhstan region, which exported 5,630 tons (increase by 2.99 times) and 4,772 tons (increase by 2.1 times) respectively.
According to the information, volume of export of red meat by Kazakhstan amounted to 40,704 tons compared to 17,297 tons, which indicates an increase by 2.3 times.
The leading region by the volume of red meat export is Turkestan region, which exported 21,217 tons (increase by 2,99 times).
In turn, the volume of poultry meat export amounted to 11,050 tons compared to 7,176 tons last year, which indicates a 55 percent increase.
The leading region by export of poultry meat was Almaty region during the reporting period. The region alone exported 3,744 tons of meat, which indicates an increase by 3.35 times.
