Iranian government and parliament are to solve the water and feed issue in downstream industries and complete the unfinished projects in Fars Province, said a member of the parliament.
"Considering high mine capacities in Estahban, Neyriz and Bakhtegan counties at Fars Province the Ministry of Industries, Mine and Trade has issued permit for launch of an industrial unit," said Ali Khazrian, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"The issue of water transportation to Darab Petrochemical Company and supplying feed would be discussed next week by officials of Ministry of Energy and the National Iranian Oil Company and Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarter," said Tehran MP.
The issue of water crisis has caused delay in construction and operation of downstream projects last Iranian year(started March 21,2019) Reuters reported that the projects included Fasa Petrochemical Company and Darab Petrochemical Company, which each own 30 percent of Firouzabad Petrochemical Plant that supposed to produce ethylene.
"It has been expected that unfinished projects in Darab County would be completed by $28.5 million credit from the Central Bank of Iran and assignment of $16 million credit from the budget," he said.
"By the end of current Iranian year(started March 20,2020) the airport in Darab would be completed and it is expected that credit would be assigned to this airport from next Iranian year(started March 21,2021) budget plan," he said.
"The Ministry of Road and Urban Development has assigned $1.9 million credit for renovation of an old road from Fasa County to Darab in Fars Province alongside construction of a new road from Bahadaran distrcit in Yazd to Hajjiabad County in Hormozgan Province," he said.
"It is expected that 20 villages in Darab and Zarrindasht counties would have access to clean water while gas transmission to Fasaroud, Furg and Mazayjan rural districts would be completed by the end of current Iranian year(started March 20,2020)," he said.
"It has been predicted that next Iranian year(starts March21,2021)budget plan would assigned credit for construction of hospitals in the region, while it is expected that a hospital with 164 beds would be built in Darab," he said.
