BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 10

By Jeila Aliyeva - Trend:

An enterprise for the production of dry building mixes and drywall has opened in Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan information portal.

The company is designed to produce 4 million square meters of drywall and 5,000 tons of dry mixes per year.

The main raw material component of production is calcite.

Production halls are equipped with technological equipment purchased in Turkey, Spain, China, and other countries.

The production process is automated and controlled by operators. There is also a laboratory for product quality control, a compressor unit, a transformer substation, a section for packaging and packaging of finished products, and a warehouse for its storage.

The building materials industry is gaining momentum in Turkmenistan. A powerful construction cluster is being created in the Ovadandepe industrial zone of the Gokdepe district of Turkmenistan's Ahal region.

Among the products manufactured by the local construction, enterprises are the facing stone, cement, bricks, non-metallic building materials, metal structures, plastic, and fiberglass pipes.

Turkmenistan’s abundant natural resources allow increasing the production of expanded clay, the main component for which is mudstone, extracted at the Yagmansky field in the Balkan region.

The priority sphere of the building materials industry is the production of well cement for the oil and gas industry as well as the cement of various grades, including portland cement (sulfate-resistant cement), which is used in laying foundations, construction of bridge supports, and hydraulic structures.
