Green growth and a digital economy are Spain’s two main economic priorities in Georgia, the Spanish Foreign Ministry told Trend.
"Projects and investment in those areas will be welcome and facilitated," the ministry said.
According to the ministry, opportunities exist in the Georgian economy, thanks to the attractive business environment, by both global and regional standards, and the DCFTA (Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area) with the EU favors investment opportunities.
"Strong progress in the transition to democracy also increases the attractiveness for foreign investors," the source said.
Spain maintains diplomatic relations with the Republic of Georgia since 1992. Currently, Spain's relations with Georgia are marked by Spanish membership in the European Union.
