Number of industrial parks in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province increases

The number of industrial parks in the Sistan and Baluchestan Province (southeastern Iran) has reached 32 with the opening of four more industrial parks, said Alireza Rashki, managing director of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) on Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

According to Rashki, these industrial parks are covering 49 hectares of land in Zarabad County, 42 hectares in Qasr-e Qand County, 49 hectares in Bampur County, and 49 hectares in Taftan County.

The director added that the goal of establishing industrial parks in Sistan and Baluchestan Province is to increase employment in the region, create infrastructure and create conditions for comprehensive development in the region.

Reportedly, the ISIPO in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan Province is working to create various opportunities for industrial enterprises in the province, reduce the problems of industrial enterprises, and remove polluting industrial enterprises from residential areas.
