TEHRAN, Iran, July 14. Iran's polymer industries are preparing new strategies to focus on export of polymer products to Africa , said board member of the National Iranian Polymer Industries Association Reza Tofighi, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"Our strategy is not about marketing for export but we plan to provide licensing and to manufacture products domestically instead of importing," he said.
Iran's polymer exports shares 7 percent of the country's $48 billion non-oil export in the last Iranian year (started March 21,2021).
Iran's export of polymer products in the last Iranian year was valued at $3.2 billion, including $1.2 million of direct and $2.7 billion indirect worth of exports.
Iran's export of polymer products has increased by nine percent in the last Iranian year, mostly to Eurasia, Arab countries and Pakistan.
