Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Babayeva / Aydin Veliyev, the Chairman of the Republican Poultry Society, stated that around 400 tons of chicken and over 8mln eggs have been sold at specialized markets in Baku where weekly markets have been held since December 2006.
Veliyev said that there is a high demand for poultry within the community and the number of markets can be increased. The Society unites 28 enterprises, including Hovsan Broyler, Mardakan Broyler, Siyazan Broyler, and Devechi Broyler.
