SOCAR will sell three consignments of Azerbaijani oil with volume of 220,000 tons from Novorossiysk in August.
Under the forecast, the oil pipeline will transport 140,000 tons of the Azerbaijani oil in September, 248,000 tons - in October, 240,000 tons - in November and 140,000 tons in December.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) ships its oil via the Novorossiysk port. In January-June, SOCAR exported over 1.2 million tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline. Over 170,500 tons of the Azerbaijani oil was exported via this oil pipeline in June.
In 2009, SOCAR intends to increase oil export via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline to 2.5 million tons compared roughly 1.3 millions tons in 2008.
