KazTransOil increases oil transportation volumes by 3 percent in 2010

In 2010, the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” transported 52.5 million tons compared to about 50.9 million tons during the same period of 2009, a statement posted on the JSC official website says.

In 2010, the network of main oil pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" transported 52.5 million tons compared to about 50.9 million tons during the same period of 2009, a statement posted on the JSC official website says.

The cargo turnover through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" amounted to over 34.2 million tons per km.

In comparison with the last year, the volume of oil transportation through the network of main pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan has increased.

As a result of 2010, the amounts of oil transportation to the oil refineries amounted to 12.7 million tons, which is 1.56 million tons higher than the same period last year.

In 2010, the volume of oil throughput via section of "Atasu-Alashankou" amounted to 10.1 million compared to 7.7 million tons during the same period of 2009.

Transit of Russian oil via the section of "TON-2", located on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was equal to 5.6 million tons compared to 5.36 million tons during the same period of 2009.
