New rules for providing technical terms in gas sector, as well as connection rules for consumers among population are submitted to departments and public agencies for consideration, the head of the Ministry's state gas monitoring department Asif Zeynalov said.
He said after consideration the ministries and departments will express their opinions regarding the new rules. The opinions will be considered and additions will be made to the rules.
"The main thing is that gas use rules were approved. Additions to the rules which are under consideration at this stage, resulted from those rules, which were previously approved," Zeynalov said.
He said consideration and approval of the new rules will not take long.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers approved new rules for gas use in Azerbaijan.
