Oil imports to Turkey decrease

Oil imports to Turkey in July 2012 have decreased by 22 percent and hit 1.4 million tons compared to the previous month, the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory
Authority said today.

Oil imports in January-July 2012 decreased by 1.8 percent and hit 10.6 million tons compared to the same period of 2011.

Diesel fuel imports in July fell by 3.9 percent and hit 882,400 tons compared to the previous month.
Diesel fuel imports in January-July 2012 decreased by 9.9 percent and hit 5 million tons compared to the same period in 2011.

Petrol exports from Turkey in July decreased by 31 percent and amounted to 162.7 tons. Exports of jet fuel rose by 8.3 percent to 245,000 tons, the export of marine fuel declined y 29.7 percent to 96,000 tons.

Petrol exports increased by 2.7 percent and hit 1.4 million tons from January to July 2012 compared to the same period in 2011. Export of aviation fuel for the period increased by 18.4 percent to 1.2 million tons, export of marine fuel increased by 30 percent to 1.4 million tons.
