To date, nearly 300 million tons of oil have been produced under the project for the development of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil and gas fields, the first vice-president of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) Khoshbaht Yusufzadeh said at an event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
According to him, of the total volume of oil, there were 152 million tons worth of profit.
According to Yusufzadeh, the second major achievement after the signing of the "Contract of the Century" in 1994 was the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline. Thus, according to him, the BTC transported 215 million tons of oil from the total volume produced by the ACG.
