Kazakhstan approves new tariffs for oil flowing through KazTransOil JSC pipelines

Kazakh Natural Monopolies Regulation Agency (NMRA) has approved new tariffs for oil transhipment services through the pipelines of KazTransGas JSC, according to a message from JSC.

The tariff for oil transhipment at oil pumping station named after T.Kasymov to the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline of KazTransOil JSC has been approved to the volume of 74.84 tenge (153.83 tenge=$1) per ton (ex VAT), according to JSC. The new volume of the tariff will take effect from February 2014. Earlier the volume of this tariff was 59.7 tenge per ton (ex VAT).

Additionally, the tariff for oil pumping through the Kazakh section of the Tuimazy-Omsk-Novosibirsk-2 (TON-2) main pipeline belonging to KazTransOil JSC has been approved to the volume of 1727.1 tenge per ton per 1000 kilometres (ex VAT). The tariff will take effect from February 2014. Earlier the volume of this tariff was equal to 1987.7 tenge per ton per 1000 kilometres (ex VAT). The decrease in the tariff is relates to an increase of the oil pumping volume.

The tariff for oil pumping though the sections of the Priirtyshsk-Atasu-Alashankou pipeline has been approved to the volume of 117.31 tenge (ex VAT) per ton for the Priirtyshsk-Atasu section, as well as 1097.42 tenge per ton (ex VAT) for the Atasu-Alashankou section, according to a message from JSC. The tariff will take effect from Jan.1, 2014.
