About 13.98 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan in January-April 2016, which is by 1.8 percent less than in the same period of 2015, said the country's State Statistics Committee's (SCC) report on results of the first four months of 2016.
Some 41.69 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan in 2015 versus 41.9 million tons produced in 2014.
The main part of produced oil accounted for Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of oil and gas fields.
Production of tank gas was 6.3 billion cubic meters in January-April 2016, which is by 9.8 percent less than in the same period of 2015, according to the SCC.
Tank gas production was 19.72 billion cubic meters in 2015 in Azerbaijan versus 18.7 billion cubic meters in 2014.
