Average price of North American oil was $67.41 per barrel or $0.58 per barrel more than the previous indication.
Spot price of American light oil WTI (Cushing), produced in Texas, on May 2 was $69.71 per barrel, which is $1.26 more than the previous indication.
Average price of URALS (EX-NOVO), exported from Azerbaijan via the Novorossiysk port, was $69.79 per barrel or $0,54 per barrel less than the previous indication.
Density of WTI is 40 degrees API, sulfur content IS 0,4-0,5 percent. This type of oil is mainly used for the production of gasoline, and therefore the demand for it is high, in particular in the US and China.
The price of WTI oil (Midland) on Wednesday was 56.46 dollars per barrel or $1.74 less than the previous indication. Density of WTS oil is 30 degrees API, sulfur content is 2.5 percent.
The price of a barrel of light oil LLS on May 2 was $73.16 per barrel or $0.91 more than the previous indication. Density of WTS oil is 35,6 degrees API, sulfur content is 0,37 percent.
The price of American oil Mars on Wednesday was 69.81 dollars per barrel or $1.11 more than the previous indication. Density of oil Mars is 28,9 degrees API, sulfur content is 2,05 percent.
The price of North American oil Bakken on may 2 was $67.91 per barrel, or $1.26 more than the previous indication. Density of the Bakken is 39-40,9 degrees API, sulfur content is 0.17-0.2 percent.
The price of June futures for North American oil brand Nymex Light Sweet on Wednesday was $69.72 per barrel, $1.29 more than the previous indication.
