Baku, Azerbaijan, July 24
By Ilkin Shafiyev - Trend:
SOCAR Ukraine trading house imported 250 million cubic meters of natural gas into the country at the end of the first half of this year, the company told Trend July 24.
It is noted that this is almost four times more than the imports for the same period in 2017. Thus, SOCAR became the leader among commercial companies in terms of gas import to Ukraine.
"We plan to continue to grow the volume of natural gas imports and to expand our presence in the market. We enjoy the trust of our customers because SOCAR is a conscientious and reliable partner, which is important for Ukraine. Our intensive progress shows that the energy market has become more open for business", the source told Trend.
SOCAR is represented in Ukraine by its subsidiary SOCAR Energy Ukraine, and owns a network of 60 gas filling stations.
