The US Epsilon Development Company has announced that after the overhaul and drilling of the liquidated Izgancha-2 well, the company obtained an industrial gas inflow, Trend reports with reference to the company.
In March 2020, company received a condensate inflow at Izgancha-4 well. The hydrocarbons yield indicates the discovery of a new gas condensate field with estimated reserves of five billion cubic meters of natural gas.
At present, geological exploration to clarify the structure and reserves of the new field is underway. Targeted work to increase Izgancha-2 production volumes using modern technologies will also continue.
All performed work in the company is carried out in strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological norms within the framework of quarantine measures against COVID-19.
All extracted hydrocarbons are being routed to the domestic market to cover the needs of the population.
The main activities of Epsilon are prospecting, exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons and flare gas and oil; construction of industrial facilities; construction of transport communications.
One of the missions of the company in Uzbekistan is to develop and progress new and sustainable energy projects, which will serve as a catalyst for socio-economic development at both regional and national levels.
For implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, a consortium of investors has been established with the Thyssen Krupp (Germany), Epsilon Development Company, and Epsilon Asia Limited (Hong Kong).
In the framework of joint activities, Epsilon has already commenced large-scale exploration at Kultak-Kamashi, Mubarak, Surkhan, Ashibulak, Koskudyk and West Fergana investment blocks
