The head of Bushehr Province's Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said that two chemical fertilizer production units, which were shut down due to the problem of providing working capital, resumed their operations with the support of the government.
"In order to support the production units, the working capital required by the chemical fertilizer production units of Persian Chemistry Industrial Group Co. and Sanat Pajoohan Company was provided,” Seyed Hossein Hosseini said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The production capacity of Sanat Pajoohan Company is 6,000 tons of fertilizer and that of Persian Chemistry Industrial Group Co. is 60,000 tons of phosphoric acid per year,” he said. “With the reopening of these units, a total of 29 jobs have been restored."
He went on to say that the production of simple and triple phosphate fertilizers in Bushehr province reaches 300,000 tons per year.
He added that the increase in the production of phosphate fertilizers will help to meet the demand of the agricultural sector for urea fertilizers, while the surplus phosphate fertilizers will be exported.
"The four major objectives for the organization this year include the leap of production, the completion of semi-finished projects, the development of exports and the control of imports and market regulation," he noted
