Forecasts for Bahar Energy’s future annual production volumes

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 20

Light and medium crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGL) production at Bahar gas field in Azerbaijan is expected to stand at 48 bbl/d for the 12 months beginning January 1, 2020 and ending December 31, 2020, Trend reports citing the data of the US-based Greenfields Petroleum Corporation, owner of Bahar Energy Limited.

Conventional natural gas production at the field is expected to amount to 16,603 Mcf/d during the reporting period.

Light and medium crude oil and NGL production at Gum Deniz gas field is expected to reach 498 bbl/d.

Total proved production of light and medium crude oil and NGL and conventional natural gas is forecast to amount to 546 bbl/d, while conventional natural gas output will be equal to 16,603 Mcf/d.

Through its wholly owned subsidiary Bahar Energy Limited (BEL), the corporation owns an 80 percent interest in the Exploration, Rehabilitation, Development and Production Sharing Agreement (the “ERDPSA”) with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan ("SOCAR") and its affiliate SOCAR Oil Affiliate (“SOA”) in respect of the offshore block known as Bahar Gum Deniz (the “Bahar Project”) which includes the Bahar Gas Field and the Gum Deniz Oil Field.
