The volume of exports of oil and petroleum products from Azerbaijan to Australia stood at 132,015 tons in the first half of 2020, up 1.7 times compared to the same period of last year (77,100 tons of oil), Trend reports referring to the State Statistics Committee.
According to the report, the oil and petroleum products were exported in the amount of $57.4 million.
Azerbaijan exported 19.5 million tons of oil from January through July 2020, which is 0.02 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, according to the statistical report of the State Customs Committee.
The total volume of exports of petroleum products in the reporting period amounted to $6.3 billion, showing an annual decrease of 48.6 percent.
During the seven months of 2020, the volume of exports of petroleum products amounted to almost 705,797 tons, which is 15.4 percent more compared to the same period of last year.
