By Klavdiya Romakayeva - Trend:

The cost of diesel fuel sold under the 'UNG' national brand in Uzbekistan was reduced to 6,300 soums ($0.6080), Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

Earlier it was reported, price for diesel fuel gradually being reduced in the network of gas stations "Uzbekneftegaz", which sells oil products under the 'UNG' national brand.

This time, the cost of imported RON-95 gasoline from November 10 will be reduced from 6,600 soums to 6,300 soums (from $0.6370 to $0.6080).

“We are constantly analyzing the issue of price formation for oil products sold at the company's filling stations. We believe that if the cost of production decreases, then we must reduce the cost of its sale. And this practice will continue,” Director of UNG Petro Mirzokhid Musaev said previously.

The main reason for the decline in prices on the international oil market is the introduction of the coronavirus-related quarantine in European countries.

State regulation of retail prices for RON-80 gasoline and diesel fuel, including the EKO brand, has been canceled in Uzbekistan from May 1, 2020.

Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan plans to abandon the production of RON-80 gasoline. After modernization and reconstruction, the Bukhara refinery will produce RON-91, RON-93 and RON-95 gasoline, as well as Euro-5 diesel fuel.
