Some 28.8 million tons of oil (together with condensate) were produced in Azerbaijan from January through October 2020, Trend reports on Nov. 19 with reference to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy.
This indicator decreased by about 2.3 million tons compared to the corresponding period of last year.
Some 19.7 million tons of oil accounted for Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, 2.9 million tons (including condensate) - Shah Deniz, 6.2 million tons (together with condensate) - the share of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
SOCAR carried out drilling operations in a volume of over 11,000 meters in the third quarter of this year.
At the same time, SOCAR refined about 1.3 million tons of oil, over 827 million cubic meters of natural gas.
