Volume of oil production from Azerbaijan's ACG, Shah Deniz fields disclosed

The total volume of oil produced (together with condensate) since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) and Shah Deniz fields until December 1, 2020 made up 551.3 million tons, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.

According to the ministry, 522 million tons of condensate were produced from the ACG field and 30 million tons of condensate from Shah Deniz.

Since the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz fields until December 1 this year 549.2 million tons of oil (together with condensate) have been exported.

During this period, 175.6 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and 133.1 billion cubic meters of gas from Shah Deniz.

"Since the commissioning of the Shah Deniz field until December 1, 2020, 88.8 billion cubic meters of gas have been exported," the information says.

Oil supplies to the country in the first eleven months of 2020 amounted to 5.4 million tons, which is decline by 292,000 tons compared to the same period of last year.

Meanwhile, in the third quarter of this year, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) carried out over 11,000 meters of drilling.

At the same time, SOCAR processed about 1.3 million tons of oil, over 827 million cubic meters of natural gas.
