Kazakhstan boosts petroleum oils exports volume to Croatia

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Jan. 22

Kazakhstan has exported 93,851 tons of petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons worth to Croatia to 25.1 million euros in October 2020, Eurostat representative told Trend.

In turn, overall petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons export from Kazakhstan to Croatia amounted to 663,330 tons worth 187.5 million euros over the period from Jan. through Oct. 2020.

Thus, compared to August 2020 the export volume decreased by 38.09 times (151,594 tons), whereas compared to Jan. 2020 the volume increased by 35.6 percent (69,166 tons). No export was carried out in September 2020.

The value of petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons export from Kazakhstan to Croatia 45.2 percent less than in August 2020 (45.9 million euros), and 25.1 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (33.5 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Croatia amounted to $328.8 million over the first ten months of 2020, compared to $116.4 million during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to Croatia amounted to $311.08 million over the period from January through Oct. 2020, compared to $109.4 million during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Croatia amounted to nearly $17.7 million over the reporting period, compared to $7.04 million during the same period of 2019.
