Iran's South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company fully implements extraction plan

Iran’s South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company (SZOGPC) has fully implemented its plan for the extraction of oil, gas and gas condensate, Executive Director of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC), Ramin Hatami said, Trend reports citing company’s website.

According to Hatami, the South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company extracted about 23 billion cubic meters of gas, 7.5 million barrels of gas condensate and 1.14 million barrels of crude oil within the mentioned period.

“In addition, the company plans to extract daily 165 million cubic meters of gas from 9 gas fields for the last 4 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022),” he added.

The director also noted that the SZOGPC will implement a number of plans to increase extraction from 10 new gas fields.

As reported, the South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company (SZOGPC) are one of three subsidiaries of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC). The South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company currently has 9 gas fields - Aghar, Dalan, Nar, Kangan, Sarkhoon, Tabnak, Homa, Varavi, Shanol and 2 oil fields - Saadatabad and Sarvestan in operation.
