Iran has reached significant energy agreements with Russia in many meetings with Russian energy officials and representatives of oil companies, Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji told IRNA, Trend reports.
The minister noted that within the framework of these agreements, documents have been signed and Iran will soon see the benefits of these documents.
Owji added that Russia has companies with high potential in the oil and gas sector. Iran has reached agreements with the representatives of these companies on the development of its oil and gas fields, the construction of new oil refineries, and the transportation of technology and equipment to the country.
Reportedly, on January 19, 2022, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi paid a visit to Russia at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. A delegation of Iranian ministers is accompanying the Iranian president during the visit.
