Iran's South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company (SZOGPC) fulfilled its plan on oil and gas production in excess for about the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through February 19, 2022), Executive Director of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC), Ramin Hatami said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
According to Hatami, the company has produced about 40.8 billion cubic meters of gas within the mentioned period.
“Under the program, the SZOGPC produced an average of 125 million cubic meters of gas daily for the first 8 months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2021). Also, the company plans to reach production 162 million cubic meters daily for the remaining 4 months,” he said.
The director also noted that the company produced 12.8 million barrels of gas condensate and 1.55 million barrels of crude oil over about 11 months.
The South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company (SZOGPC) are one of three subsidiaries of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC). The South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company currently has 9 gas fields - Aghar, Dalan, Nar, Kangan, Sarkhoon, Tabnak, Homa, Varavi, Shanol and 2 oil fields - Saadatabad and Sarvestan in operation.
