IRICA shares data on Iran’s gasoline exports

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 3. Iran exported a total of 366,000 tons of gasoline worth $133 million, during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2022), the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.

The spokesman noted that Iran exported 269,000 tons of gasoline to the UAE, 59,000 tons to Afghanistan, 34,000 tons to Iraq and 4,000 tons to other countries in 4 months.

Latifi also stressed that costs related to transportation, storage, insurance, sales revenue, etc. are not included in the value of gasoline.

In general, Iran's non-oil trade turnover for 4 months amounted to 46.8 million tons worth $34.4 billion, which is an increase of 19 percent in value compared to the same period last year.

Over 4 months, Iran exported 35.6 million tons of non-oil products worth $17.2 billion, while imported 11.2 million tons worth $17.2 billion.
