BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 28. The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) intends to launch all previously damaged single-point mooring (SPM) buoys by October 15, Kazakhstan's Minister of Energy Bolat Akchulakov told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, all issues with contractors have been resolved.
On August 22, CPC suspended SPM-1 and SPM-2 due to damage to the buoyancy tanks. In case of complete readiness for work and good weather conditions, the replacement of each unit will take a month, the consortium said.
